Settings Screen

The settings screen might contain custom settings for your site. A default Silva installation has the following settings.

Container Type

Folders can be changed to Publications and vice versa. This operation can take awhile if there are a lot of content items in the container.

Convert to Publication

For Silva Folders, the convert to publication button is available in the Settings screen, a subscreen of the Properties screen. This will convert a Silva Folder to a Silva Publication. The button will then change to convert to folder in case you need to convert back.

Convert to Folder

For Silva Publications the convert to folder button is available in the Settings screen, a subscreen of the Properties screen. This button will convert a Silva Publication to a Silva Folder. The button will then change to convert to publication in case you need to convert back.

Content Renderer 

Depending on the site configuration, there may be alternate renderers available. The Default renderer is the normal presentation.

Additional settings

It could be that additional settings, either for layout or other configuration, are visible. These are settings for extensions to Silva and must be installed by the site manager. Each extension has it own documentation.
