Manager login
A Silva Manager has access to both the Silva Management Interface (SMI) and the Zope Management Interface (ZMI).
Login To the Zope Management Interface
To Login to the ZMI (Zope Management Interface) type ‘/manage’ at the end of your Silva site url, e.g. http://www.mysilvasite.com/manage. A password prompt will appear.
Fill in the dialog box with your user name and password. (Fig. 1.)
Click OK. You will be taken to the ZMI. (Fig. 2.)

When accessing the ZMI with ‘manage’ a frameset loads. Most managers enter ‘manage_main’ after the site url because this goes directly to a page, without the ZMI frameset.
Accessing the Silva Management Area from the ZMI
To access the Silva management area from the ZMI, click on the Silva icon. In Fig. 2. Here it’s called Shakespeare but in your case it will be the id of your site root.

This will take you to the Zope Management area for Silva. (Fig. 3.)
The Zope Management area for Silva has the following tabs: Contents, Services, Silva/edit, View, Properties, Security, Undo, Ownership and Find.
Click the Silva/edit tab in Fig. 3.

This will take you to the Silva Management area. (Fig. 4.)

To return to the ZMI, click on the manage... link at the end of the breadcrumb trail at the top of the screen. This link goes to ‘manage_main’, without the ZMI frameset. Remove ‘_main if you want the frameset.
