In the section csv data you find out how to import spreadsheet data into Silva.
Importing a full media zip file
If you are importing a full media archive (.zip) created by a Silva full media export the system will recognize it and handle it properly. The folder structure of the previously exported content will be recreated, and the names for the assets will be the same as they were before the export. Chief Editors and above can export full media archives.

You will then be presented with an upload form. (Fig. 2.)
Click the Browse... button to upload you full media zip file. The form has several options. Fill in the desired options and click the import button.
- title for assets and subdirectories
- These are options for importing assets and these options don’t have any effect when importing a full media export.
- replace content
- Be careful with turning on this checkbox. It will overwrite content even if it’s published. You can always import separately. delete the old content, and rename the numbered new copies.
