Previewing a document
Silva Preview
After editing a document you can preview your work by clicking on preview in the Silva top navigation bar. (Fig. 1.) Make sure you save your work first!

The preview screen displays the content in the public layout as it’ll appear on the site after being published.
The preview mechanism uses a namespace. You can completely navigate in the preview version of your site. When clicking on links in the preview screen, yo will stay in ‘preview mode’ while navigating around.
Troubleshooting
Sometimes when you go to the preview screen you don’t see recent changes. The browser has cached the page, so refresh it to see the new content:
- In Firefox use the right mouse and choose “This Frame > Reload Frame”.
- In IE use the right mouse and choose “Refresh”.
